I was just thinking the other day about all the fun times I can remember back at the dreaded M word... Manshead for those who don't know. I thought it'd be cool and a good way of looking back on great memories for everyone who wants to, to list one or more of their memories of times spent with Pete. One of my best memories is when me, Jim and Pete came up with our little dance/performance for House Entertainment. Mine and Pete's bros had done it two yrs previous so there was a lot of pressure on us to make ours better. I remember when we heard the girls wanted to do something as well, Pete, myself and Jim were adament we wanted the glory for ourselves. Boys will be boys! We entered to our theme tunes, Jim to thunderbirds or was it that random clown like song (I'm sure Jim will remind me), Me to YMCA (I was embracing what people who did drama had to be), Pete to Mission Impossible (no Mission too impossible would be more apt). I can see him cammando rolling in now. Despite our lack of dance ability we went for it! And looked very silly in the process. Also I must mention the chaos we caused on our last day at Manshead. I'll leave someone else to add this story if they want. Pete played a large part in the havoc inflicted upon our beloved school that day. My memories are from a while back so more recent stories would be great to hear. Colouring in the years I missed would be awesome. I'll never forget you Pete. Big love! (in the words of Jim). |

remember when we did let me entertain you, dave? you sang, jim played piano, pete drummed and for some reason i played guitar. oh and stu played bass. you couldn't get this one little bit right, but it was great fun and we got there in the end. just one of the happy moments i remember from manshead. that and when i wrecked your house ent performance, by telling mardlin to bring the lights up too soon and cutting out an entire scene! (sorry about that, btw!) pete and jim and chris and myself got up to some mischief in music tech. happy days. i miss them. i'll never ever forget pete, or any of you for that matter. jon, stu and me dabbled in music making for a while, but basically, we sucked. it all seems a distant memory now..... anyway, i look forward to hearing more from petes friends and family to fill in the gaps, as in dave's case. bring on the memories folks!! oh, just remembered when pete and bob did circus acts in DAOS's Barnum. Pete was in the actual show, and rocked - as always - but he and Bob did fire breathing and juggling and stuff in the interval. Pete decided to try a stunt that Jon had done with Stu, a few months before, and juggle machettes while walking over the subject lying on the ground - lengthways. Pete chose to walk over my brother, and exactly as Jon had with Stu, dropped one of the knives extremely close to my brothers groin. There were a few screams from onlookers, (including my mum and Sarah!) but luckily marty was intact, and in fact Pete and Martin's friendship only grew from that moment. Miss him everyday. I remember this and I wasn't even involved! The plan was to hide in the cupboard of a classroom during break, wait for the next lesson to start and then randomly open the door and walk out mid-lesson. Classic... |

Random but perfect. I remember it well now! I swear some of us hid in that cupboard in the year ten block classroom that used to be a cloakroom. I think Mrs Cleave was teaching! Good times for sure! |

Oy you lot that is my room these days - carpet and interactive white board included ( and the stupid ex science benches are long gone)! However I do remember 'the cupboard' weeze too but then I remember Jon, Gareth and the 'Pay us to kidnap your teacher 'scam' as well...Anyone remember the weedkiller? Love to you all.
