http://pineappleyou.spaces.live.com/ We went on a trip today, to a wonderful spot basically in the heart of Brisbane, where martin learned to rock climb. Its on the river, and it has a wonderful view. We set you free amidst frangipani flowers and water dragons - and we named one, the biggest and most statuesque one - Petes Dragon. (Click the above link to see photos....) We carved your name on the rocks. We hope you like the view. Last night, we drank a ridiculous amount of alcohol (3 bottles of vodka, 1 bottle of mount gay rum, 6 beers, a bottle of champagne, half a bottle of kahlua, and some seriously nasty shooters) We played a crazy drinking game, pulled an all nighter and danced in the rain, all in your honour. We think we did you proud. We continue to think of you, and continue to think "what would Pete do". We're pretty sure that you would have "done" what we did last night. In fact we KNOW you would. Wow - Caz, Martin and Helen what a great thing to do (love the pictures- particularly the dragon)! Here in the UK many of Pete's friends spent the day with us, all such wonderful people who help keep us alive. We ate roast dinner, played a silly game, talked and went to the pub. A Pete day I'd hope. Thought a lot about you too. Just wish... Love to all and to Pete. Sarah xxx |
